The Summit Institute offers different program opportunities based on your circumstances, aspirations, and fit. This is a general application for all programs. If you don’t know which program is right for you, don’t worry. We are ready to help guide you through the process and find the right fit along the way.
- The Summit Institute Residency is an intensive, two-year program offering significant hands-on ministry experience, weekly training, and mentorship by seasoned church leadership.
- The Summit Institute Apprenticeship is a high-investment nine-month program for men and women who are either exploring or feel called, to church ministry.
- The Summit Institute 9-week Summer Internship exists for college students interested in student, worship, and guest services ministry. We believe God is calling college students to full-time ministry, and the summer internship will give a small taste of what that is like.

When: New programs start each August.
Time Commitment: 20-35 hours/week
Compensation: All residents and apprentices are formally coached and trained to raise financial support as part of their development. Summer internships are non-support-based positions.
Seminary Credit is available at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary (the number of credit hours is dependent on the program)
