The Summit Institute offers two program opportunities. The Summit Institute Apprenticeship is a high-investment nine-month internship for men and women who are either exploring or feel called, to church ministry. The Summit Institute Residency is an intensive, two-year program offering significant hands-on ministry experience, weekly training, and mentorship by seasoned church leadership.

This is a general application for both programs. If you don’t know which program is right for you, don’t worry. We are ready to help guide you through the process and find the right fit along the way.
Where: The Summit Church, Raleigh-Durham, NC
When: New Residents start each August.
Time Commitment: 20-35 hours/week
Compensation: All full-time Residents participate in raising financial support. Apprentices also have the opportunity to raise financial support, which we encourage as it will aid with your ministry focus.
Seminary Credit is available at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary (the number of credit hours is dependent on the program)
